jaskoh Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I am going to be buying a Curado reel tomorrow. It will be used 99% of the time with my Jig/Worm setup (7' H Fast Action Avid). Will be fishing CRIG, Texas and Jigs. I am very confused on whats more important. The gear ratio, weight of the reel, or the bearings. I am probably reading to much into this but I want to buy the best possible reel this particular setup. I also know that things start getting heavy after a long day on the water so I am trying to reduce my weight if it won't hinder my casting capabilities/getting the bait in quickly capabilities. Quote

Guest DavidGreen Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Definitely when it comes to C-rigs/T-rigs/Jigs weight and balance of the system as a whole is a major consideration. Tight Lines!!!! Quote
