I'm having some trouble with this, people tell me you just flip the bail and cast...but when i flip the bail the line falls immediantly...any suggestions?...thank you

I know what you mean. I always keep my finger somewhere on the line for tension until I cast... then, I finger the line with some more tension just before it stops so it doesn't jump off then. That's the only way I know how to describe it. I never have any problems with line jumping off, but that's what I always do to prevent it from doing so.

on a spinning real, you have to hold the line after you trip the bail.  Put your pointer finger under the line and kinda wrap your first knuckle from the tip of your finger around it.  Trip the bail.  Rear back and let 'er fly, obviously letting go of the line as you come forward.  Will take a little while to cast with accuracy, but keep at it.  Also not, the consensus seems to be that after you cast, trip the bail closed with your hand.  Don't just start reeling, letting the bail close itself.

Yep...

A little practice is all it takes. Spinning tackle is VERY user friendly.

This is how I do it:

I hold the reel with my left hand and with my first two fingers on my left hand I slighty press the line towards the rod. With my right hand I flip the bail. I cast and when I'm ready I let go of the line and the bait will fly.

Practice, Practice, Practice.
