If the difference in price is minimal go for the Extreme, it 's a better rod.

For 65 bucks, that a lot of bang for the buck. Go for it.

 Have only used the B. Blades for $49.95 on sale, for that price you don't get a better rod. An Extreme for $15 more, don't think you can go wrong..

Got two Extremes the other day, I was happy that they survived the shipping process.

I ended up with the 7' heavy, and 7' medium heavy Woo Daves. REALLY happy with the results. Went out the next day and caught fish on both rods. With the Stradic 2500's they feel nice!  ;)

Wow Skillet  usually I am on the same Planet with You, BUT have you ever tried the FENWICK GT it is also 4995 and I have fished both and I like the Fenwick better. I also like my Extreme better thn the Bionic I owned

How would a Fenwick HMX for $65 fit into the mix?  Cheers!
