So I just shipped out to Reelmech a brand new Ito Engineering Alpha reel for him to take apart.  I am having the housing anodized in the same finish as my Abel pliers and knife.  Here is the finish.

After I get the housing back, It goes back to Reelmech to be put back together.  I will also be adding these parts.

I can't wait to get it back!  This reel will go on my Steez Harrier rod.

I don't fly fish at all.  I am looking at getting a nice 8 weight set up for bass and stripers though.

It will look very nice. I would also upgrade the ball bearing to TG Rockets ceramic hybrid and Carbontex drag washers. They are worth every penny.

Good luck with it

I just pm'd Rellmech to ask about these pieces Lubina - Let's see what he says.  He told me that the innards arent any different than a stock Alpha....
