BigBen09 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Hey those of you that have or have used a Citica. WHay is the difference in the 200D and the 100DSV, is it just the size or are the bearings different to. when I looked at the 100DSV at the sroe the only thing i could see that was different was that the spool didnt have the holes drilled in it. Also do they make the 100DSV in na left hand retrieve? Quote
BigBen09 Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 ok never mined i got my answer. I called Shimano and they dont make the 100DSV in a left hand retrieve. Quote
Hawgin Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I have both. The 100DSV is smaller in size, and it weighs 2 ounces less. The 100DSV has 1 less bearing. They have pretty similar line capacity. Honestly I own both and there is no noticable difference in performance of these two reels. I like the 100DSV better because of the reduced size and weight, but they are both very good reels. Quote
ThaKing Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 shimano does D and DSV cuz DSV always holds alittle more line than D so it has a deeper spool for extra line. Quote
