Most people are right handed.

Most manufactures offer models of their reels with handles on the left if that's your preference. I fish baitcasting reels with right-hand retrieve, it's no big deal. I was born with two hands and I use them both.

Yeap you are correct...that is the right way anyway.... ;D

Most manufacturer offer some of their models in lefty but I'm still waiting for a Revo 7.1:1 like that.

Reel selection is limited to Lefties yes. But its all about comfort and YOUR preference. I wish I could reel with my left hand but its just uncomfortable for me. But if you like do it. You have to fish that way no one else.

I bought one RH baitcaster and hated it.  I have 5 left handed baitcasters now and they are all I use.  I have a Daiwa TDZ 105, a Shimano Chronarch 101, a Shimano Curado 201BSF, a Shimano Curado 101D, and a Shimano Curado 201D.  Using you left hand to reel means you are ready for the bite the moment the lure hits the water.

I to am a righty who uses a left handed baitcaster (abu c4). I started out long ago with spinning reels so I am very comfortable cranking with my left hand.  When I wanted a baitcaster a friend recommended purchasing and learning with a lefty reel so that it would be natural from the very beginning not to have to switch hands with the rod.
