Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted April 26, 2007 Super User Posted April 26, 2007 I'll see if I can get a pic sometime later.Starting Line Up (with me every time I go fishing Shimano Scorpion 1000 Mg on St Croix Legend Tourney TBC68MXF Shimano Curado 100D on a St. Croix Premier PC70MHF Team Daiwa Advantage 153ST on a Team All Star TAS846C (braid set up) Team Daiwa Advantage 150P on a Shimano Compre Crankbait rod CPCC70MHB I hope to have all these rods replaced with G.Loomis and St. Croix customs by this time next year Reserves Curado 200B on an "old' All Star Classic WR1 Curado 200B on an "old" All Star Classic WR2 I just sold a pair of those Team Daiwa Advantage reels. One high speed and the other a 5.1. I've never seen those reels before now but they are very sweet, especially for the price. I highly recommend! Earlier this year I was looking for a cranking reel the same size a 100 Shimano. I had to "settle" for the Advantage 150P. After the first trip out with it I immediately came home and order a 153ST. I am soooooo impressed with this reel. And I am a Shimano guy. I am suprised I haven't heard much talk about it on here. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted April 26, 2007 Super User Posted April 26, 2007 I love the 153 HST. I need to buy a couple more before Daiwa discontinues them. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted April 26, 2007 Super User Posted April 26, 2007 Discontinue??? I just found them : If they do, hopefully they will have a big sale like they did the TDZs. Are you sure they are going to discontinue them. I am not real familiar with the Daiwa line, but wouldn't that take them out of the mid range market .... ie Shimano Citica Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted April 26, 2007 Super User Posted April 26, 2007 I will try and post this weekend. Boat is not here and I have most of my gear on it. Quote

BPS doesn't even list the Advantage in their 07 Master Catalog. truth be told, i like the TDA 153 better than the Citica Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I'm waiting for Redlinerobert, The_Natural, and Raul to weigh in here. If you want to see gear, these guys will put anyone to shame. Raul is trying to find a wide angle lens for his stuff. Redline and the natural are waiting for their insurance companies to give them permission to post. ;D Quote
