BassFishingMachine Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I have some rubber worms that are a bit harder then the usual, and was wondering if there was a way to soften em up a bit. I was thinking about just keeping them in a moist bag and see if they soften up from that. What you guys think? Any ideas or opinions? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 13, 2006 Super User Posted December 13, 2006 I think you might be better off pitching them. If the texture is compromised, the flavor may also be impaired. I wouldn't try to save them. Quote
Super User Alpster Posted December 13, 2006 Super User Posted December 13, 2006 If you have a lot of then and want to try a cheap fix. Get a big bottle ou unscented baby oil and add some anise (on the spice rack at the grocery store). Mix it up and stick your worms with the mixture in a zip lock bag. I don't know if it will fix them if they are already dried out, but I know that good worms will stay soft forever in the oil. JMHE Ronnie Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 What do you mean the flavor might be impaired? I can always just add megastrike to em, no? Quote
