Was on the BPS Website, reading some testimonials about baits. Heres one that made me chuckle

"This frog is the bomb. I catch many fish on this scum frog. The hooks get dull rather quickly so I lost a 22 pounder which made me mad. But overall i have caught a couple 10+ pound smallmouth"

How in the world did this guy know it was a 22lb fish he lost,if in fact..He lost it. I think the fish may not be the only thing this guy has lost!! A couple 10+ Pound Smallmouth???

It was probably some secretary that works at BPS that wrote that. ;D I had to laugh when I read it!! ;D

I'm surprised that the people as Bass Pro, who proof read those reviews, even let that one through.

Look at this review for the same product.

"I caught a big Smallmouth Bass that is spits my Banjo Minnows since 1 month ago that I caught from the shore, now I can see the bass striking!!!!!"

What the @#*% does that mean?  What makes it worse is that "1 of 1 people found this review useful"

I guess being mentally challenged is a prerequisite to using the Scum Frog.

Simple, fish are the only creature that grow larger every time you talk about the one that got away, if you are not holding it weights ........zero, nada, nuthin.

I thought the rule was: "Any fish that gets away automatically doubles in size."

Look at this one "this is why level wind reels where phased out" why did u buy one then ?????  LOL @ Amatuars                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    "This is the absolute worst reel I have ever owned!!!When you think of the word junk this reel should be at the top of the list...No matter how this reel is adjusted or tuned it just creates birds nests. These things are just uncastable..This is why level line reels where phased out for spinning reels. And the argument that level winds are better reels is just false they are not. A piece of fishing equipment is suppose to be easy to use in the field, not a constant headache like this abu reel. And they did not provide me any support or help on how to cast this piece of junk correctly. So if you are thinking about buying a level wind because of the hyped up statements about how great they are don't waste your money,I have owned four so far and they are junk. Even a cheap spincast is a much better reel because mine almost always work and the level winds never work..Thats what fishing is about enjoyment, not constant mechanical breakdowns.I have been fishing since the late 1950s and have never had a problem with any other kind of reel, except for level winds because they are a very bad design!!!"

Didn't the reviewer know that spinning reels are over-hyped and getting phased out in favor of the Zebco spincasters?

;)

COuldn't resist. This is a great thread BTW. Gotta get me one of those scum frogs though. Go ahead and get a sharpening stone as well. Don't wont to lose any 22 lb LMBs or 10 lb smallies.

Gets away after being seen - 14 pounds

Once in the boat - 2 pounds: can't lie once you hold em
