GeneinTX Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I have finally spooled on some braid. I was wondering what knot to use for a TX rigged worm? I was thinking double palomar. I will be fishing it in grass. Thanks in advance!! Quote
mike bat Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 i use a polamar ,,, never had any troubles ..... i do hear the improved clench is the best knot for braid .... altho the polamar hasnt failed me yet ..... so ill stick with that .... Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted April 11, 2007 Super User Posted April 11, 2007 Tying braid to terminal tackle I use the same knot (San Diego Jam) that I use on mono. I have used the Palomar but I can tie the SDJ and get in a cast before I can tie the Palomar. If you want to watch how they are tied, here is a link: http://www.animatedknots.com/knotlist.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com Quote
Supermat Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I've used the Double Palomar for the last year and have not had a single not slip. I used to use a regular palomar and then glue the knot but with the double I no longer have to worry about glue. That knot will serve you well for sure. Quote
Tucson Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 The Berkley Braid knot works well for me, I'm not familiar with the double palomar, I'll have to look it up. Quote
