Vinfisherman Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Hey Fellas do you think the shimano Castaic 200SF is to little a reel for a 7'6" diawa light n tough flippin/pitchin stick? Thanks for your help!! See you on the water!! Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted April 1, 2007 Super User Posted April 1, 2007 Nope! Great reel Welcome aboard Quote
linesider7 Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 My theory behind flipping reels is that less is more. I'd say go even smaller if you can afford it. When you spend 4 hours a day flipping a 7'6" rod 1,000+ times, it counts. I've been using revos and pflueger summits lately and couldn't be happier. Quote
Hot n Tot Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 I have that same reel spooled with 50# power pro, and I think it's great! Quote
