Hey, quick question, what is the ligthest weight that you have casted with this reel? I am curious to know if  I can use this for finesse fishing with LIGHT weights.

Thanks in advance.

I can cast a 0 size in-line spinner without much trouble, good distance and it weights about 3 grams ( 7/64 oz ).

1/4 oz  Spot Removers with NO PROBLEM.  I would have no hesitation going with 1/8 oz baits.

But remember the reel is only half the "system".  You gotta have the right rod paired with it as well. :)

Can the BPS ProLite Finesse cast about the same weight? I want to construct a slightly cheaper combo.

Thanks Raul.

I have no idea.

No heavier than Medium.  I had a medium light but swapped it out for the medium.  I tend to prefer slightly stouter rods than most people though.  If you can find one with an x-fast tip too it will give you a little more bite behind your hook sets.  I personally have mine paired with a St Croix Legend Tourney 6'8" Medium power X-fast tip.

You are not alone KU, I myself feel like you, I prefer a little bit more "muscle" in the rod. Got a CR722 for finessin ', tried a CR721 and I didn 't like the noodly feel.  :-/
