Bad service from PLAT? Ordered some JDM rods

So last week I ordered 2 Steez rods from the PLAT website, and have yet to hear back for a request to pay for the two rods.  Does anyone else have a better source for Japanese rods?  If they would atleast tell me the status that would be great!  

I'm looking for a Steez "Wylie" and Steez "Machineguncast Type I"  Thanks guys!

Hmm...

I would reconsider your purchase. If you can't get any service when you are trying to buy something, how much service do you think you'll get if there is a problem down the road? Seems like just another good reason to stick

with G.Loomis to me. I don't know exactly what the comp would be in the Loomis line, but I'm sure they offer one.

"Bad" service may not be as bad as you think it is. The firts moths of the year is a really bad time to order to Japan, it 's no fishing season ( the cold ) and most retailers are low in stock, they are honorable people and do not charge you for the rod until they have it in stock, you place the order, they place the order with the manufacturer and until the rod arrives they will charge you.

Status ( from their website ): An arrival-schedule is two weeks from the 3 days after-order.

From BPS site for the same item: Item(s) will ship directly from the vendor; delivery options and/or upgrades are unavailable. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Contiguous 48 states only.

So in escence it 's exactly the same thing, the difference here is, order from BPS and they will charge you for it and you will have to wait 2-3 weeks, at least Plat hasn 't charged you yet.

When paying with a credit card for the first time in our web site,

since I can check the delivery address and a name please send either of the following items for the credit card procedure:

1) Your monthly credit card billing statement as a form of verification

000(I want to check only your address and name. You may black mark purchase history, a credit card number, description etc.).

2) Passport.

3) Identification card.

4) Driver's license.

The address written on your credit card billing statement, passport or the driver's license should be the same as the delivery address.

All those precautionary measures ( CC statement, driver 's license, etc ) are only taken by them for your own protection and only for the first time ( be shure to use the same card in future purchases or the process will have to repeat agin ).

I 've had the same measures asked when ordering from Mexico to a shipping adress in Mexico, when the shipping adress is inside US territory they don 't ask for all that. They want to verify the true identity of the person ordering the merchandise and to avoid CC fraud.

GinRinPeche also has Steez rods at both, their website and e-bay store. At e-bay store they were offering free shipping but you 'll have to wait until they re-open the store, their website is working.
