bow3022 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I just purchased a quest baitcasting rod. It was 30 bucks, i thought i'd give it a try. Has anyone heard about this company before? I was talking to a person i met fishing, he has the same rod and he says its good. Also a friend of mine who i fish with also have one of these rods, and he also likes them.(he owns a crappie rod and a 6'6 med power, fast action). Anyone here own this rod? Post a little review on how you like it. Quote
Rob G. Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I think Quest rods are Dick's Sporting Goods own brand. I could be wrong. I do not own any and have never fished them. Quote
bow3022 Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 hm, i always thought nortern outfitter's were dick's sporting good's own brand. Quote
HomersTomaco Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 quest isn't a dicks exclusive but its the only place i've seen spinning and casting rods by them. LL bean sells their fly rods. They are just the same el cheapo rods as other cheap rods with a different name and logo on them. Quote
bow3022 Posted February 26, 2007 Author Posted February 26, 2007 mktrout you think its a el cheapo rod? It uses the same guides a a st croix triumph. Decent cork. Quote
