I bought a bunch of this line (bulk spools of 8, 10, 12) this past weekend at our tackle show.  I have used Silver Thread before with good luck, but I didn't use the silver color.  The gentleman at the booth told me that silver disappears better than the clear or green.  Has anyone used this stuff and what is your thoughts?

I bought a bunch due to price, and I figure if it works then I got a great deal if not I am not out too much!!

I use the green and clear SST.  Have used the silver color in the past with no problems.

I've only used the green but it's funny because this is probably the cheapest line I've ever bought.  The funny part is that it is also one of the most user friendly lines I've used, lol.

It's on all my saltwater spinning gear up to the 80 lb class.  (30 lb test line)  Anything stronger needed and we up the line to Jin-Kai. (usually 80 lb)

In 30lb, there is quite a bit of stretch.  This is a plus where we use it but may need to be considered depending on how you intend to utilize it.
