Super User FryDog62 Posted Thursday at 01:35 AM Super User Posted Thursday at 01:35 AM I have one ordered that went on backorder right after I hit send. What other 7 ft Medium-Fast rods have the same unique type of action - moving baits as well as the sensitivity for at least some bottom contact. Very versatile which is needed when you can only take a handful of rods on a kayak… Ideally something less money would be fine, I’m not hung up on a rod being boujee necessarily, just versatile, sensitive, etc. TIA Quote
softwateronly Posted Thursday at 01:52 AM Posted Thursday at 01:52 AM I only have a 904, but the major craft days360 610M/RF is what I imagine a 2 power loomis would feel like. I love this rod, 110jr+1, jigs, scroungers, spoons, flukes, spinnerbaits, free rigs, etc. https://jdmtackleheaven.com/products/major-craft-days-360-d360c-610m scott Quote

Possible, although I believe it has a little bit of a longer handle than I like for working lighter/finesse lures. Agree, it’s another good rod though! 17 minutes ago, softwateronly said: I only have a 904, but the major craft days360 610M/RF is what I imagine a 2 power loomis would feel like. Just wondering if I received and wasn’t quite right, the shipping costs back to Japan might be as much as the rod?!? Quote

If measurements help, let me know. I'm a few days away from being near it, but can certainly get a pic if needed. I don't know what the literature says, but has to be within a half inch of the 610M expride. My guess is yes? I fished the s**t out of mine the day I opened it scott edit; I replied to both for the reason of poor comprehension skills Quote

I can show you a pic, but a few days away. I'm not planning on going to my place for a little while. If you're looking for a drastic difference than the expride, it's probably not for you though. scott Quote

Super User FishTank Posted Thursday at 03:40 AM Super User Posted Thursday at 03:40 AM I have the Megabass P5 Zcrank Elseil and I love it for small cranks and jerkbaits. It is also great for topwater. I have used it for senkos and a 3/8oz jig and it wasn't bad. It's a bit soft but the main thing is the tip on this rod. It recovers quickly so if you like to pop baits, it's great. It would be a good alternative to a MBR rod. 1 Quote
