Caiden24 Posted Friday at 07:04 PM Posted Friday at 07:04 PM I am looking to get braid for my finesse setups and I like something I can see. What brand do you guys use that doesn’t fade after one cast? Thanks! 1 Quote
Solution Crow Horse Posted Friday at 08:23 PM Solution Posted Friday at 08:23 PM I'm really happy with 832. I'm using the neon green and might try the yellow. 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted Friday at 08:54 PM Super User Posted Friday at 08:54 PM I'm a fan of 832 Yellow - the neon green isn't quite as visible to me. 1 Quote

Functional Posted yesterday at 12:01 AM Posted yesterday at 12:01 AM gunna be the oddball here but I spooled up some Yo-Zuri superbraid in blue and have been really liking it. Easy to see and hasnt faded on me yet. 1 Quote
Smirak Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Another 832 yellow. However, I’ve been intrigued by the new finesse braid and might pick up a spool… Quote

From the feel of it at academy, it sure feels nice. I had a mishap with my spinning rig on Monday making me miss a (my opinion) huge fish (most likely a piece of hydrilla but whatever). Anyway, came home and spooled on some new flouro, but really am thinking I might go grab a spool of the finesse braid tomorrow… 1 Quote

It's also about twice the price. There is a bright lime green/chartreuse 131 available on the European market, but that's even more expensive still. Really wish they'd release that Stateside as I'm a fan of the 131 and would love a hi viz option. Quote
Lottabass Posted yesterday at 11:05 AM Posted yesterday at 11:05 AM When my vision got bad enough that I couldn't see mono or fluorocarbon first I tried Sunline BMS, which has some colored sections. That worked for a while then got where I couldn't see it either so I went to hi vis yellow 832. The brightness kinda bothered me even though I colored 3 feet of it with a sharpie. They now have 832 in Sunrise which is a darker "hi vis" but I can still see it. I don't use a leader. The lakes I fish have dirty water with 12 inches or less of visibility. Quote
Super User GaryH Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM Super User Posted yesterday at 12:18 PM 832 hi-viz yellow and green both are great. Quote
DaubsNU1 Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM I run PowerPro 10lb high visibility yellow braid on all my spinning rods. Serves me well. Quote
VTFan Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I too use Power Pro hi viz yellow. It fades over the course of a season of fishing. Never used 832 so I can't say from experience how the two compare. May try 832 next time. Quote
little giant Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 832 yellow Berkley X9 chartreuse Kastking hammer braid chartreuse Seaguar smackdown flash green. Use em all, casting, spinning, bfs. Quote
