I've used Trilene XL for over twenty years with no problems. I've tried other lines but always came back to XL.

i have never found a mono better than Izorline platinum its not too expensive comes in 1/4lb spools but you have to order it to get because very few places carry it. Each lb test breaks a couple lbs more than its rated and is smooth handeling tough without much memory

I like P-Line CX Premium

Baitcaster: P Line CX Premium 12-20 lb. (tough. fairly stiff, strong)

Spinning: McCoy Mean Green 6-10 lb. (limp, little if any memory, very good strength)

Very different properties, but perfect for what i use them for.
