JHoss Posted Monday at 02:38 PM Posted Monday at 02:38 PM What are y'all running for your LVS32 Transducers? I have a 0 degree offset that was on there when I bought the boat, but I can't get it level. It's always either pointing too far up or too far down. I'd like one that can be flipped to perspective mode quickly and easily on the boat. I've got an Fortrex if that matters. Quote
Fishingmickey Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Garmin, sells the perspective mounting bracket. That bracket will let you rotate your transducer to a horizontal position. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Garmin_Livescope_Plus_Perspective_Mode_Mount/descpage-PLSS.html I see it has gone up twenty bucks on TW. You may be able to find one at the old price of $99. FM Quote
JHoss Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago @Fishingmickey Do you have one of these? Is it easy to adjust and obvious when things are lined up right? Just looking at it, I'm not sure how I would know when it was at the exact right angle when switching from perspective to forward and vice versa. Quote

In perspective mode the tranducer is rotated so it is horizontal instead of vertically oriented. The cone angle of the transducer is 20° x 135° in forward mode so you've got a 20 degree V side to side and a 135 degree V top to bottom cone. I hope I am making sense. When you are in perspective mode you've rotated the transducer so your 135° is side to side and 20° is top to bottom. There are also marks on the bracket for each setting (forward, down and perspective) position. It is also covered in the instructions Garmin has for the Live Scope transducers. Google is your friend here. There is a ton of information out on the webs and on Garmin's web site. Good luck! FM Quote

This is what I was wondering and wasn't seeing anything about it in the product descriptions. My buddy showed me one this past weekend that clicked into place, which seems like a convenient feature when making an adjustment on the boat. Quote
