Just started throwing them this year too, got a few smallies with them as a jig and hair jig trailer.  Kinda in-between a kicker and dead action when dragged/hopped.  I need to do what you're gonna do.

Just got my order of Baby Jacks in in time for the derby tomorrow. They look killer. Biggest difference aside from the blade size seems to be head size. They moved some of the lead from the head down the hook shank. I'm hopeful that may help it come over wood better.

I'm thinking something in that 3" range. I'll probably start with a mooch minnow tomorrow morning and adjust from there if needed.

Sadly no.

Package clearly states 2/0 and it looks like it.

I will admit to liking the blade (color & Size) as well as the EVO Elite head design quite a bit.

Pretty much pot committed at this point so I'm going to fish them and see where they land.

Either way I have a few ideas regarding trailers that I'm looking forward to seeing perform.

More to follow on that front.

btw- do me a personal favor, Please wear your life jacket.

Are you talking about the EVO? He's saying the Baby Jack has a 3/0, which is correct according to TW.
