Super User eyedabassman Posted February 18, 2007 Super User Posted February 18, 2007 I will be buying a few spinning rods, one will be for small cranks. And the others will be for all around bassin. Here are the ones I was thinking about ,what one do you boys like better? HELP! :-/ :-/ Fenwick Eagle GT= BPS Tourney TS Special= BPS Bionic= :-/ :-/ :-/ : : Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted February 18, 2007 Super User Posted February 18, 2007 I have all 3 of those rods...............only in casting. I would rate the Fenwick and the Bionic Blade as about equal, and both better than the Tourny Spec. Of those three, I only have the Bionic blade in a spinning rod, a 6'6" MH, it is a super jig/worm rod. Just a word of caution, Fenwick rods are stiff, XF action rods and they feel, to me at least, that they are rated lower than there actual power. I have several Fenwicks and would have to say most of them work out like this M Fenwick = MH BPS MH Fenwick = H BPS ML Fenwick = M BPS Quote
Hawgin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Of those three rods I would recommend the Fenwick as well. It will be the lightest and most sensitive of the ones you listed. Quote
