not including cooking, because I do have to eat.

I have turkey hunting coming up.  I have ocean rockfish kayak fishing coming up.  I keep thinking of the bass fishing I will miss because of those two other less fun activities..  the turkey opener is the same day I usually sneak off to my secret bass lake.  I just go radio silent with my friends.  "what lake?"

I wish there was two of me.   or better yet, I was retired young.  grrrrr...  there is so much that is entertaining in the world.  I wish I could do it all.

my wife loves eating expensive rock fish.  especially the lingcod.  I gotta go.  and I gotta go with the kayak.  give the sharks a chance. :D  my wife dropped the biggest hint.  she bought me a dope Japanese fish butcher knife. hahahahah

I find ponds and lakes at the beach when I can surf fish.  It's a sickness brother.  🙂🙂🙂🙂

I hear ya. For many years I hunted and fished (freshwater) for everything legal in Georgia. Now it's just bass fishing with a handful of Bluecat trips a year.

You shouldn't brag about a dope Japanese blade and not show us a pic.😀

Me as well. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, but bass fishing is more than that. It has a hold of me like nothing else ever has.

It's pure joy.  One of the very few things I could do daily and never tire of it.  Congratulations on finding it!

Been deer hunting and Bass fishing for over 50 years.

Every fall while sitting in a tree stand I can't help but wonder if the fish are biting.

Never think about deer when I'm on the bass boat 😁

Mine seems to be purchasing bass fishing tackle...although sometimes I do get a chance to go out and actually fish for bass with some of it...

Blam.  still can't figure what type of witchcraft Japan mail-order companies utilize, but it got to our post in 2 days.

Like cowboying, fishing is an art without an audience.  Sure, I have a smartphone, I have a go pro to show off a little when I catch something, but ultimately, it's you, your gear, and the fish.

I ultimately enjoy it more than hunting nowadays.

Don't hold this against me, but bass fishing is my second favorite hobby. Sumo miniature golf is my favorite.

I grew up a walleye and perch fishing guy. I’m now full blown bass. No regrets, absolutely love it, although I still catch crap from some my buddies 🤣. Some people just don’t get the point of fishing for enjoyment, and not keeping and eating everything they catch.

Bass under 2 lbs are good to keep and fillet, and helps stunted populations in smaller bodies of water
