I only bank fish.

At most, I carry one spinning rod, one fly rod, and a landing net.  All my tackle fits in a 6th Sense Small Bait Bag (roughly 9 x 6 x 6).  Contents are tools, measure mat, bait scent, one small fly box, one small Meiho box for soft plastics, one small Meiho box for hard lures, and one small Meiho box for terminal tackle.

I also wear a lanyard that has nippers, my licenses, hemostats, and floatant.

1-2 Rods/Reels, a small backpack with one Plano 3600, one BPS with terminal tackle.   Ice cooler strapped to the luggage area of the KLR 650.

Depends on the bank(s) I'm fishing

If I'm going to my typical banks I can only fish about 10 yards of bank, I'll bring 4 rods at least. I've caught bass after casting to the same spot 20 times, and on the first cast after switch baits I'll get the hit.

If I'm walking around a very long bank, at least 2 rods, 10 pounds of gear, I'm probably only gonna use 2 or 3 lures anyway, I could probably shed 9.5 pounds and be alright.

That’s the exact bag I have now and have had for years lol. I think mines the carry all tho. But still. It’s great bag just now what I want anymore

Is it the older 1 or newer one?

Hmmm. I’m not sure. It’s about 3 years old

Its the newer one then.  They cheapened the older bag by putting lesser quality zippers on it, taking out the inserts to make the bag keep its form and stopped lining it with a water resistant material.  The newer bag is kind of a weird size.  Its the same width as a 3500, but is nearly double the height.  It causes the bags of plastics to slip under neath on another and is kind of PITA.

Whatecer size bag I use I always fill to capacity.  Those 3600 style bags get really heavy fast and dont carry large amounts of soft plastics easily, unless you store them in planos, which I dont.

Personally the 3500 bags are the most effective and efficient, unless you want to carry something smaller and change the loadout to fit the day.  Ill change some of the baits out as the pattern of the fish change by the seasons, but I always have more than I can use.
