normanaj Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I was out for a walk yesterday in one of RI's management areas that has several ponds of varying sizes and was quite surprised to see no ice at all considering the Winter we've been having, granted we had a few days of warm weather but it still surprised me. As my post in the intro forums says I've been fishing the salt most of my life but am making a return to freshwater as I'm winding down and not getting any younger. That being said today is fairly warm though breezy so I think I'm going for a little hike and hit up some of these ponds and see if I can't scare up a bass or two. ne_dan Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Make sure they’re not on the trout waters list; if they are they’re closed until the second Saturday of April Quote

Actually just about to head out the door and hopefully get a little action. Quote
