It’s the 10th biggest lake in America but there will be boats crowded in 4 or so community holes.

I guess the lack of vegetation is due to high water?

I think it’s due to herbicide treatments

It’s both. Florida fish and wildlife isn’t allowing much freshwater drain off, lots of hurricanes have dropped massive amounts of water, raising water levels which just kills hydrilla.

Then you have them spraying on top.

They still gonna spawn though.

I haven’t watched any of this today.
Scott has been living life differently the last few years, he’s a Christian Man now, so he probably told BASS something that had little useful information. The Man didn’t deserve a 4 day boot plus a fine.

Anyway I’m done with my disgruntled posts lol

None of them have a marshal with them. Looks like they only had enough marshals for about half the field today.

I thought they were supposed to update Bass Track themselves in that case? And there was a $1000 bonus for whoever was closest to their actual weight?

Has to be a reception issue or something, right? Aint no way John Cox has 0 fish at 3pm in a Florida Derby. Or the Johnston bros for that matter.

Bassguess

Paul Mueller one of my CT boys with a nice 19lb bag.

Confirmed on Bass's website that there is a $1000 incentive for whoever's Basstrakk is closest to their total weight. Guess most guys would rather punt that chance at a grand to save fishing time and chase the real money.

I was thinking the same thing. Must be some fine print in there somewhere.

Cox ended today in 48th place....meanwhile, I've got one in the top 10 and another just outside 20th...so I'm pretty happy - though The Llama needs to get in gear.

Idk who are worse wake boats or jet skies.

I don't even think it's close anymore.  The wake boat crowd is WAY worse on the water.  They legitimately damage the bottom and shoreline.  Not to mention the tsunami of waves they create.

Jet skis are annoying too but not remotely on the same level.  I can tolerate jet ski zipping by pretty easily compared to a wake boat.

I was reading an article yesterday about how Denny Brauer liked fishing areas with lots of wake in the summer. Said it oxygenated the water the same way wind hitting a point does. Not sure I agree enough to put up with that stuff, but interesting perspective.

I have definitely done good with largemouth down where everyone wakeboards and the waves smash rip rap. I think it’s busts a lot of small stuff loose that shad and bluegill eat, which draws in bass

6 guys all sitting in the same hole casting over each other. Majority of them all top 10 guys. This is wild.

Yeah they are cooperating too. They did that all yesterday. You want to go fast go alone, you want to go far, go together.

Talk about two different starts to the year in regard to epic smashfests in Texas last year at Toledo Bend and Lake Fork.

75% of the field can hardly catch 10lbs in Florida, meanwhile the handful of 20lb bags are caught within casting distance of each other.

Watching all these boats sitting on top of each other should be a clue for BASS, but I doubt they care.

I like that!

It’s true to a point, until it’s not.

I find it actually incredibly interesting.
