I've always laughed at Bass boats. So focused on one thing. Going fast and fishing on a fresh water lake. Can't even put that $90,000 boat in the ocean. What a waste of money!!! These days, not so much. I haven't had a boat now for over 7 years, and paddling around in a kayak is getting old. The idea of a Bass boat has really been warming on my lately. I'm all done with the ocean. Now, $100,000 for a Skeeter, yuh. That's to much. I could swing $55,000 on a Nitro Z18 though...🤔 Not this year, but maybe next winter. Sat in one last weekend. First time ever in a Bass Boat. Wow. That's space to fish!!!

Can’t take a bass boat in the ocean you say? Jacob Wheeler says, “hold my beer.”

There's plenty of dual purpose boats that resemble "bass boats" in many ways. The boats im looking at are just comfortable picking apart a dock on a lake and can run to the Bahamas on a calm day as well. You might look into skiffs, bay boats, and hybrids before settling on a particular bass boat.

Wife and I were really liking the Targa V-19 Tournament series. That's something I would be comfortable with putting in the ocean from time to time. Just need to settle on a boat at this point.
