Super User gim Posted February 23 Super User Posted February 23 Way to go Fothergill. You finished 102. No other way to sugarcoat it. Epic failure in an elite debut. Quote

He did well at Okeechobee last year. Might have a good shot for a bounce back. I happened to see his weigh in on Friday. Looked like a whipped puppy. 1 Quote

Pat Brown Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Bill on Bass after Dark swim jig episode was super fantastic - a great dude - happy with how this one turned out for sure! 4 Quote
Dan N Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Kinda cool at the weigh in when Bill held up the small bass, with the big one, cuz the small one was just as important! 3 Quote
Dan N Posted February 24 Posted February 24 1 last thing to say, I’m in walleye country, and I catch some slack from some of my buddies that think bass are so easy to catch. We just saw some of the best bass guys in the country, on a great location, and they did not all ( including the winner) catch a limit every day. it’s not that easy 😎 6 Quote

Plus those guys use live bait. As if they can talk lol. 1 Quote

Take away a walleye anglers ability to use live bait or troll and most would take a skunking nearly every time. Virtually every walleye angler I know has to rely on at least one of those two methods to be successful. Bass fishing in cold water is tough. Anyone who does it should know it’s not easy. They are a warm water species. 2 Quote
