I have had the best luck with a small single tail grub (2.5" or 3" from mister twister). They are easy to find near the crappie baits.

I use a 3 inch Spunk Shad… I don’t think you want anything that kicks very hard, the micro sized bladed jig blade isn’t very big and a wild kicking trailer could throw its vibration/action off.

Or 3" damiki armor shad, I find them more durable.

Yep any little pintail/fluke style bait should be great. The 3" spunk shad didn't exist when I started using the micro or that might be my pick. I like the tiny fluke because they're pretty easy to source and come in a 20 pack.

Like @softwateronly said, the Damiki 3" Armor Shad is an amazing micro bladed jig trailer.

I've caught hundreds and hundreds of fish on them attached to Flashback Minis and Mini Max chatterbaits.

The 3.5 Spunk Shad is another good one.

2in and 3in Dolive Craw, 3in Dolive Beaver, Great Lakes Finesse Snack Craw, and my favorite, Valley Hill Devil Shaker.

You can scratch the above baits.... I missed the part about it being a micro bladed jig trailer.
