Randy Price Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Welcome Mike. I was raised in Pekin, IL just a little to your south. Moved to Rockford after college in '89 but my son works in Peoria so I get back there often. Quote

I dont have a boat or a kayak (Plan on getting one eventually) but for now eureka lake , bowen in washington (not a good place to fish imo) and sometimes spring lake. if the river is up a bit il try the boat dock area in pekin. I need to find more places to fish this year though Quote

You may be able to bank fish at Spring Lake and that's got good bass. I heard that Powerton got flooded out and dumped into the river some years back and hasn't recovered, but I have no first-hand knowledge of that. Quote
