Teams are furiously hiring/firing coaching staff in hopes of making a run at the Super Bowl. The combine and draft is right around the corner.  Will your team make it into the playoffs?

 

KC's O-Line problems were exploited by the Eagles and Bills.  Will they be able to fix it during the off season?

 

As for my Seahawks, they fired 1st year offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, replacing him with Klint Kubiak, but their offensive fortunes aren’t likely to change all that much if they don’t get better offensive line play in 2025. Geno Smith was sacked 50 times and the Seahawks run game ranked 28th in the league thanks in part to a group that failed to consistently provide protection or open up holes at the line of scrimmage. 

 

Speaking of which, the 'Hawks running backs are average at best.  Fortunately this year's draft is rich with running back talent that should go deep into the 7th round.  So this their chance to improve the running game.  Lord knows they need it with interception-happy Geno Smith! LOL

I heard on the radio today that a vote for consideration to ban the “tush push” is slated next week.

 

It would require 24 of the 32 team owners to vote for this in order to implement it. The radio folks seem to think it will pass overwhelmingly because the only 2 teams that would vote against are the Eagles and Bills.

 

They also relayed which teams most commonly use it. Obviously Philly and Buffalo were 1 and 2. You might be surprised which team uses it the third most though. Take a guess.

I kinda like the TP...apt abbreviation for Tush Push...TP.

Only after saying, it works for the Bills - except when they 

decide to not do it properly in the AFC Championship. Grrr.

The Seahawks just traded Geno Smith to the Raiders for a 3rd round pick!

I bet they get Sam Darnold.

DK Metcalf traded to the Steelers for a 2nd round pick.  The Hawks now have 10 picks and 68M in cap space.

He's been rumored to go to Pittsburgh.

 

Someone like Seattle might pay him more, but let's be honest, he has a much better chance of winning with the Steelers right now.  If he's placed into a good system with talent around him, he proved himself with 14 wins and 35 touchdowns.

KOC was a big part in Darnold's success last season. Arthur Smith is a good OC that could keep it going if Sam ends up at Pitt.
