10,000 lakes Bassin Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Ive never made my own jig skirts and I don’t know if I want to make the full commitment to do so, but I was wondering about buying jigheads and rubber banded jig skirts separately and then wire tying the pre-made skirts on? This way I could match my favorite jigheads with my favorite colored skirts from different brands, save some money, and see if I want to make my own skirts from scratch in the future. What wire would you recommend to tie them? Quote
Bass Junke Posted February 14 Posted February 14 22-26 gauge craft wire. I use 24 gauge copper wire coated black. 1 Quote
