Super User OkobojiEagle Posted Monday at 04:46 PM Super User Posted Monday at 04:46 PM I'm seeing quite a few 2-tone colors of zman baits on their site. This leads me to believe I can mix light with dark baits (of their own plastics) in the same bag without the dark bleeding into the light baits. True-False? oe 1
Super User gim Posted Monday at 09:43 PM Super User Posted Monday at 09:43 PM I wouldn't do it. Keep em separate in their own bags and out of the sun/heat for any extended period. The rumors of those things turning into a big pile of goo is true. 2
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted Monday at 10:34 PM Global Moderator Posted Monday at 10:34 PM I've never had a good experience from mixing different color Zman baits. The only time it's been okay has been anything green pumpkin is compatible with other green pumpkin hues. I mixed some white with some Laguna Shrimp, and now have a bag of orange baits? I thought light with light would be okay but I guess I was wrong. 1
Super User Jig Man Posted yesterday at 12:22 AM Super User Posted yesterday at 12:22 AM False. I put some “dirt” in with “the deal” and wound up with a “dirty deal”. 1
Super User FishTank Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM Super User Posted yesterday at 04:07 AM I had a bag rip of Z-man TRDs on a hot summer day so I put the balance in another bag of TRDs but of a different color. I thought nothing major would happen but they sort of jelled/melted together. They didn't really blend color. Based on that, I wouldn't do it.
Super User DogBone_384 Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM Super User Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM True. I mixed a few colors in one bag to keep in my sling pack. They bled a little.
