Super User clayton86 Posted February 9 Super User Posted February 9 How’s the fishing in the area of Clayton Georgia? Planning on going there to visit and possibly move to one day. Nothing particular drawing me to that area other than the name coincidence haha. I just think he cool to live in Clayton Georgia when my name is Clayton George. since fishing is a big part of my life and who I am I need to be able to without long drives. Quote
Alex from GA Posted February 12 Posted February 12 There's lots of fishing around there. Lake Hartwell to the east and several smaller lakes to the west and lots of river fishing. Russell, Burton are a couple of good bass lakes. 2 Quote
BigAngus752 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Burton and Rabun are beautiful. Chatuge isn't far. Of course Hartwell is very well-known. Clayton/Toccoa/Hartwell were on our short list and we were shopping for property when I got a job offer I couldn't refuse. 1 Quote
