Super User F14A-B Posted February 8 Super User Posted February 8 I hear it’s just lit up the last few days, apparently there was a rattletrap tournament there and 25 pounds won it. Lots of 20 pound bags also. Big girls are moving in shallow.. Don’t know what parts of the lake, I’m guessing the magic mile area. Get ready, we’re very close now. Us Midwest types that is 😂😂😂 5 Quote

Guntersville is a 4.5 hour drive from me but predictably it’s getting closer to the fun time.. just hang on a few more months and you and Ajay can start posting all your hog photos in about July 😂🤣😂 just kidding ya!! 2 Quote

Us Midwest types that is 😂😂😂 Fished Nickajack, the next lake upriver Sunday before last. Ran into an angler pre-fishing for a High School Tournament and he said that he had "heard" the A-Rigs were killing them. The water was still in the low 50's so the next few warming trends should have a very positive impact on all the TVA lakes. I caught four but the wind drove me away. 2 Quote
Oldmanbassin Posted Monday at 05:31 PM Posted Monday at 05:31 PM I live 2 hours due north of Gville and 1.5 from Nickajack. This next eeek should get that water just right. Highs in the mid to upper 60’s and 6-8 days in a row. I’m close to Watts Bar and Chick, two weeks ago they warmed up upper 40’s low 50’s and it was on like donkey Kong. A-Rigg, Red Craw Crankbaits, Red Craw Rattle Traps. Man it so close now I expect to see buttercups blooming any day now. 4 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM Global Moderator Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM I’m 3 hours upstream of guntersville and we’ve got a few nights in the teens coming up and one day with a high of 24 , some snow here and there. The mountains are covered with snow today, gonna be a bit before anything warms up 3 Quote
