I meant to ask you about this when you posted. I just bought a Speed Demon Pro 6’-10” med/fast “jerk bait” rod last year and now I’m a bit nervous😬

I’ve bought two Rod forms them. I don’t remember which ones I’ve bought. One was a two piece and the other was a one piece 7’ 11” flipping Rod. The two pice I used for jerkbaits and it snapped on the first hookset. I messaged them (this was during Covid) and they said they were on short supply. I said I’m only looking for the end piece and they didn’t budge! The flipping Rod was way too long for my liking (not their fault). But the fact they didn’t work with me on a replacement or a refund left me unhappy.

Their reels on the other hand I’ve been happy with. That being said, I haven’t had any warranty issues with so I can’t speak on that.

So far, I’ve been extremely happy with their reels, sunglasses, and tools. Rods, not so much.

Current lineup but I like to tinker with combos so I’m sure it’ll change by the end of the year. I have even more reels and rods but this is the go to for tournaments/what I keep on the boat.

@Texas Flood how is that BB1 Pro for Punching?

This will be my first year with it for punching/Top water. It was my Trig reel until I decided to get a Zillion.

If my dumb brain remembers, I’ll let you know once I do get to use it.
