I have a Garmin Echomap Plus 93SV still new in the box.   I bought it back in 2018 / 2019..?

Then in ‘20 I bought 10 acres near Dworshak Reservoir (45 minutes).  Wife and I sold the house - built a shop and then the house.  I’ve been a Salmon Steelhead fishing most my life.  Occasionally chasing Smallmouth on the Columbia and Snake Rivers (WA/ID).   I sold my 21’ Jetboat while building the house.   Now getting closer to retirement I bought a G3 Sportsman 1910.

My plan is to mount the Garmin on the bow / TM.   Next year update the little 5”  Hummingbird on the counsel with a Echomap UHD2 93SV.

Am I looking at this correctly with the newer unit in the counsel for “better” side scan or ?

Should I consider just new Hummingbird on the bow?

Any thoughts on setup appreciated.  New to chasing bass on a large deep rocky reservoir .

I’d buy another Garmin Echomap so you can link them together. I’d put the new one at the counsel.

Thanks - that confirms my thoughts.

Make sure the new Echomap model you buy can be networked with your older echomap.  The new Echomap UHD 2 or Ultra 2 won't network with any previous generation Echomaps.

p.s., it's console nor counsel.
