That is the Catalog Outlet store.  They do have some good overstock prices but it used to be better than it is now.

....where is this at, never heard of it. The BPS I go to has hit or miss returns.

Got mine today, gonna have the wife and kids flip through it to browse for birthday presents for me, so they can have a little adventure out to Bass Pro this weekend or something.

I prefer catalogs. My BPS catalog came in the mail today.  For some reason it is easier for me to find things.  This is my favorite time of the year as it is when all of the lure building/rod building catalogs start coming in.

I also find cool stuff when I’m just flipping through when I’m bored.  when I’m on the net I kinda just look for what ever specific thing I’m looking for.

The lure parts one came in 1st of the year.  Lure parts web site is atrocious so the catalog is very welcomed.  Usually Barlow’s won’t be far behind.

Sometimes there is just something very impersonal about staring at screen all day.

I don't think I have gotten a catalogue from BPS in a couple of years.  I guess I haven't been spending enough.

Bass Pro is good if you can go to the store and you want ot physically look at something before you buy it online or if you have a gift card....which I actually do now that I think about it.

Right next door to the Springfield, MO Bass Pro Shops store. If you go to their website, there used to be an icon you could tap to see what they have. I think that it is titled “bargain cave” but they may have renamed it.

Edit, I just checked via the app. It’s still there and titled “bargain cave”.

BPS has a huge clearance center beside the mothership store in Springfield, MO.

I loved going there when I was stationed in MO for an Army school. Picked up brand new reels 50% off because the box was damaged. They had stuff there that I never saw in the store like 10" knock off senkos and plastics sold by weight.

I received my master catalog last week. I went online and logged in and made sure my address was correct (it wasn't because I moved 6 months ago), and I received a catalog within a week of updated address. I never requested it, didn't see that option.

I'm going to be dropping by BPS in Richmond on Friday as I'm passing through. I'm hoping they'll have some good sales going. I actually like their soft plastics and will probably pick up some of those along with anything juicy looking on clearance.

I got a catalog last week. I figure it is because I ordered twice from the site last year, as well as made a several hundred dollar purchase at one of the stores and may have given them my name and address at that time. I’ve noticed during years I don’t order from them that I don’t automatically get a catalog. Usually have to call and ask for one.

I miss the old catalog layout from years ago that had product information charts showing all the specs of each rod, reel, and lure model. All the color and size options. Now it’s just a generic reminder that they still have these items with a single photo of just one of the available options, the retail price of it, and then you are directed to the website to see other colors and sizes available. So you have to use the site regardless. Can’t simply shop from the catalog only.

Got one, I keep it around to glimpse thru, but truthfully they have only a fraction of  what products they sell in magazine.
far better to just go to BPS app.
Handy to keep in the bathroom for browsing.

Greetings All,

It was pretty cool to see a big thick catalog sitting on the coffee table when I returned from work the other week. Yes, it brought back many fond memories of my youth spent musing about stuff that I could dream about.

Funny growing up in rural areas the retailers had very limited in store offerings so most items required ordering to obtain. These days most things are a mere click away. The nearest BP shop is over 200 miles from me. On occasions I'll venture all the way up to the metro area just to physically shop. I find merit in being able to handle, inspect, before buying certain things. I will also work in some casting during those trips up there too.

It wasn't till the other day when I was curious about the catalog since it had been quite some time since I did a BP purchase. Even longer since doing one on-line. So I flipped the catalog over to look at the customer ID used to deliver it.

It was addressed to my wife! 😆 Hah!  Be well, Cheers!

I got one once that a friend had ordered for me. My first name is Duane but he had it sent to me addressed to “Dink”.
