Fat Ika Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Anybody try these out for vision 110s? If so, what's your experience been with sink rate vs the stock katsuage and any other hooks you've experienced with 110s? How's the strength, sharpness, fishing-pinning, etc in comparison to experiences with other specific hooks? Quote
Super User FishTank Posted January 20 Super User Posted January 20 I haven't used them on 110s but I have used the Fang 62-A on cranks and small jerkbaits. Great hooks, super sharp, and haven't bent one yet. I believe their Armour Point hooks are more of a general purpose hook but geared towards jerkbaits. I would say go for it. Quote

Those Fangs have definitely caught my eye too. Was gonna try some out to see how they fair against big brown trout/steelhead on cranks and jerkbaits. Have you used them for for any specific suspending jerkbait needs? Thanks again for the info. Appreciate it. Quote

Appreciate it. The only suspending bait I have used it on was a few Duo Realis Rozante. Seemed to work ok. I think water temperature effects this bait more. I have used 10's, 8's, and I think 12's on BFS cranks and trout minnows. Ordered them from Digitaka when I picked up a reel. 1 Quote
Super User king fisher Posted January 20 Super User Posted January 20 I don't have any experience with BKK treble hooks, but I have started using their saltwater hooks. I was skeptical at first , but I have to say I am surprised at the quality of the hooks. I wouldn't hesitate to try any of their other models. Quote
Fishingmickey Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I've been using their ball head EWG jig head hooks and am very pleased with them. FM Quote
softwateronly Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I found some saltwater spoons that do well for me and they come with bkk assist hooks and they stick everything real well. I would find it hard to believe that they could make a bad hook with my limited experience. scott Quote
primetime Posted January 25 Posted January 25 CDM Tackle like BKK making a mark and looks like the trend is going to keep growing.......They have been making great hooks for decades, since 70's I believe, glad they finally starting selling the BKK Brand in USA. Actually since 1856....https://bkkhooks-americas.com/our-history/ There are several China Branded hooks that are top quality.....China tackle is like everything else, you get what you pay for and if you do your research, you can save a ton of money on terminal tackle and accessories as well as lures and soft baits if do some research. I don't think BKK would put there brand on inexpensive hooks, I have always been amazed out how sticky all their hooks are. Quote
