Picked up a 6 and 8” cull shad this week. Supposed to have “super sticky hooks”. However, I can run my finger across the hook point and it doesn’t catch at all. Gonna replace the hooks, but don’t know what size. Can’t really find info either…

My experience with Berkley hooks is they arent very sharp, nor are they super sticky as there marketing team likes to call them. When i got some Gamakatsu hooks i was blown away, but i keep buying Berkleys because they are my #1 confidence hook when it comes to holding up for big bass.

Now 6th Sense hooks are sticky, i barely gripped a new lure the other day and almost got hooked on bass fishing even more😂

But for your question the 6" is a size 1, 8" is 2/0. Source is BPS
