While I can admit that recently, there were only a few of us using it. I was one of them. Might come up with my own version of it in an on going thread. You can tell 'the developers', I said they can take the rest of the year off. A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 28 Author Super User Posted January 28 If there was a Member Status section, that's where I'd have put this one. . . . . . Road Conditions here have been nothing short of treacherous today. Started with high winds and ice on the highway blowing trucks & trailers off the road, on their sides and into the median / ditch. Local, county & state police have been at it ALL DAY. Haven't heard anyone request EMS Yet so that's good. And about 3 hours ago it's started snowing again - Hard. We listen to the radio chatter on a scanner app and it's almost comical just how many vehicles are off the road. The community ran out of wreckers hours ago. Folks are just stranded and awaiting for emergency crews to get to them. At this point it's "Take a Number". The dispatch chatter is classic. Going to be a cold, snowy & busy night for first responders. 🥶 A-Jay 1 Quote
Rockhopper Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I pass a sign like that all the time where I live. Still no snow though. Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted February 28 Author Super User Posted February 28 As the days weeks and months of the hard water season passed me by, I will admit to cherishing my time down here in the hobby shop going through the gear. I got plenty of time to square it all away. Almost always pays off too Since there's no windows down here in the basement hobby shop, I am always completely oblivious as to the outside weather. Will there be a blizzard 30 below?Any of the other? Really fun times that make winter up in northern Michigan a good place to be. Take tonight, for instance, I'm down here, going through some new tackle that I just arrived from tackle warehouse and put in it in its 's assigned position. And it's good to get another one of the tackle warehouse packages that I swore at the beginning of the hard water season. That I said, I wasn't gonna purchase or I didn't need somehow. All that goes right out the window. After about the first 6 to 8 feet of snow, I hope we get open water soon. My little bit of disposable income is pretty much been disposed. Good talking to ya. Super User A-Jay Posted Saturday at 05:48 PM Author Super User Posted Saturday at 05:48 PM The middle and last week's of March here Always seem to Draaaaaaaag. Some really loooong days which often see me struggling to find things to do. Not that there's not plenty to accomplish. Just that I lack the desire to actually do any of it. Especially on days I don't workout. So March is my 'Veg' month. The high point so far today was getting up, eating a couple of times and then riding the couch right up until nightfall. Did I mention it was snowing ? I'm like an old man trying to return soup at the deli..... A-Jay 2 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted Saturday at 08:13 PM Global Moderator Posted Saturday at 08:13 PM I hear ya! It’s nice out but the ice cap just came off so there’s water is a bit too chilly for the fish to cooperate (from my experience) and it’s too early to chase birds. Last weekend was warm so I washed the front of the house, this weekend it’s a bit too chilly to do the north side. I need to go get crabgrass preventative before the soil warms too much. But I’m with you, my drive this weekend isn’t there. Quote

A-Jay On my days off lately I've been doing this way too much...my issue has been my days off have all been either nasty cold or brutally windy.....or both. That said I'm heading up to see my parents next week and pan fish with my dad for a few days. Weather as of now looks fantastic so I'm hopeful. Hang in there buddy. Quote
