JN94 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Anyone own this rod? If so, what do you think about it? Worth the price? Lightweight/sensitive? How's the action? What do you use it for? Curious about any insight you may have Quote
djhands Posted January 8 Posted January 8 It's crazy light weight but I can only use mono or fluorocarbon on it. Braid is way too loud going through the guides only rod I own where it's an issue. I used it from weightless flukes too bigger walking baits. 1 Quote

Some are worse than others making noise when going through the guides. Quote
djhands Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Berkeley x9 in 40lb. Daiwa x8 grand 50lb. Both made noise. I think I even tried 131 just couldn't get rid of the noise. But yeah it's a really nice junk rod. Was able to keep a 3 foot pike pinned with a weightless fluke Quote
