Super User fishballer06 Posted January 6 Super User Posted January 6 The time has come for the 2025 Fantasy Fishing season to begin. For those unfamiliar, we have been doing this for a few years now as a fun way to compete and have a little fun among all our members. Do you think you have what it takes to take home 1st place for the season? Group Name: BassResource Password: BR2025 We encourage all members to play along. Just pick your anglers prior to each BASS Elite event and share them (or don't) with the group. It's all part of the fun! Here is the link to the official website. https://bassmasterfantasy.com/ 2 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Thank you buddy! I am ready to defend my last place title 6 Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted January 6 Author Super User Posted January 6 I believe this is now the 8th year I've ran the official BassResource fantasy league. Seems crazy that this has been going on this long now. 2 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I was bummed because last year I missed an event. Didn’t realized they were so close in time. Quote

Didn’t realized they were so close in time. Unfortunately they do stack the events on back to back weekends a few times a year. My suggestion is to click the green "Following" button at the top of this thread and set it to notifications every time a new post is made in here. Myself (and others) usually try to post reminders whenever there is a quick turn around in events. Quote

I’ve missed one before too and it kinda screwed my season total. 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted January 27 Super User Posted January 27 Who do you guys think is the most rounded Elite fisherman? Who do you pick for angler of the year? I'm picking Patrick Walters as angler of the year. 1 Quote
Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted January 27 Super User Posted January 27 I think Trey McKinney will win AOY. If he doesn't win, I think Easton Fothergill will win. Nobody over the age of 30 will win regardless imho. The only thing that can defeat a massive time on water advantage, let alone the FFS advantage that the kids have is luck imho. The NPFL roster is absolutely stacked, I can't wait to see the old legends vs new legends compete in traditional Bass fishing. 2 Quote

That being said, I don't have a lot of interest in the Elites anymore. But I'll fill out a fantasy roster each time so I have a shot at prizes. 1 Quote
Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted January 27 Super User Posted January 27 Agreed. The last event of the year at the SLR pretty much killed all enthusiasm for the Elite Series. As long as the Johnstons are on the Elites, I'll keep looking for a better product. I have extremely high hopes for the NPFL. I'll still play fantasy though because it's a ton of fun. 1 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted January 27 Global Moderator Posted January 27 Can’t wait for the first event, I also enjoyed that open on Clark’s hill. Had no idea it was full of big LM Quote
