MinDoFmejiA Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I moved to carson city nevada recently and need help trying to find body's of water with shore access within about 1 1/2 hour drive. I have had luck finding one spot off of USA parkway that has a few connecting ponds and follows along the trucky river, but have yet to find anything else and that spot gets fished pretty heavily and regularly to a point where I'm having to rely on finnes and sight fishing bass. You don't need to give me GPS coordinates and specifics as where to cast. I just need a little help getting some kind of information. Quote
MassBass Posted Friday at 04:57 PM Posted Friday at 04:57 PM I have been there, and fished the Carson River and Washoe Lake. Can't say I caught anything, but it was early season and water was very high everywhere. I heard there are smallmouth in the Carson River(it is small, a stream), and I believe it. I think it is also stocked with brown trout. If you really want to catch fish, spend the rest of your days fishing lake Tahoe. Quote
