RichF Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 Anyone have experience with these? They seem pretty legit and are pretty cheap right now. Just can’t find much info on them. Quote
Super User webertime Posted December 25, 2024 Super User Posted December 25, 2024 Orvis doesn't make junk is about all i got for you. For the price they're going for and the reviews they get, seems like a good buy. 1 Quote
Super User FishTank Posted December 25, 2024 Super User Posted December 25, 2024 That's a great deal. I had a pair of their waders. The fit was odd with them and they did not have a relief zipper (didn't realize it when I ordered them). I ended up returning them but I did have to wear them once for a trip and they were great despite the fit issues. Also, I felt bad taking them back but they offered after I explained my issues. Awesome service. I would buy these if I didn't already have a good pair from Simms. 1 Quote
RichF Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 I took a chance and picked them up. VERY pleased with the overall fit and materials. The stretch cordura is awesome. They're a little strange to get into (one buckle and a side zip) but overall super nice. They might be a little warm for summer but I can deal. Quote
GReb Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I’ve worn a lot of Orvis over the last 10 years and have little bad to say. Their clothing is well made and lasts forever compared to a lot of brands. My only complaint is sometimes it’s tough to distinguish what the material is like online. Like you said a lot of their stuff is geared more towards milder climates. 1 Quote
