Are there any knots that work especially well or especially poorly with copoly line?  I'm trying it for the first time this year and it would be nice to know that I won't be flinging lures across the lake by tying a correct knot.

Generally I just use a palomar.  Will this guy hold with copoly?

I use a Palomar for everything except spinnerbaits.  For those (and buzzbaits) I use a "Jimmy Houston Knot".  (Nothing more than a Trilene knot tied with double line.)  I once had Joe Hughes from PRADCO show me how to tie SB's and BB's with a Palomar.  Took all of about 5 seconds for Joe.  I've since forgotten how ;)

The Palomer Knot is what is referred to as a 100% knot. If tied properly, it will not fail. This is the knot I use 95% of the time. For large lures I tie a uni knot or Trilene knot.

The general answer is, no special knot is required when fishing a copolymer line.
