Same here - but I made sure my saved logon info is with the E-Mail address....it had been set to my user-name.

I’m glad I found this thread!  I am in the process of setting up an Apple iPad Pro.  I simply could NOT get the dang thing to log into the forum even after repeated attempts.  My Chromebook would log in with no issues as usual.

Once I updated my login credentials on the iPad to use my email address vs my user name, PRESTO!  Both devices log in as expected.  The Chromebook has been changed as well.

Done.

Maybe move this to the general fishing forum. My reasoning is more members view that forum than this one.

The email I signed up with is defunct, me over here trying to remember the answer to a 10 year old security question to change it....

Doesn't help now, but thanks anyway. The email I used was one provided by my university which was guaranteed in perpetuity as part of my tuition. They just yanked that out from under us alumni with almost no warning, so I cannot change the email without the security question. I'll figure it out eventually.

@Glenn  My email is correct but I don't know what my password is.  How do I change PW if I don't know what current one is?  Thank you for your understanding!

I went to FAQ.  It said to go to name in upper right. My name is upper left.  So there is the first confusion/frustration!

Anyway, I went to Profile, then Edit Profile....and it still requires I know my password, but I don't, so how do I change it?

This stuff is easy for most of you but it is frustrating for me.

Log out, then when you go to log in again, click the "forgot password" link.  Enter your email, and you'll be sent a link to reset your password.

Hope that helps!

fyi - the change involving logging in with your email is NOT associated with the planned outage.  They are two separate events.  I placed the notice about logging it WELL in advance to notify as many people as possible.

Date is still TBD on that change.
