VA asked if i want shingles shot that i promised myself 1 year ago i would get but blew it off. So i got the shot and feel like complete crap with fever, headache....Glad i did it though.

That's something I really need to do. I last got shingles in '09 and that WAS NOT a pleasant experience. I still have numbness above my chest on the left side.

I've gotten both shots.  Not much reaction for the first shot that I remember. The second shot I had swelling on the injection sight and it was like the muscle under the skin hardened. It was 3-4" circle under the skin for about a week or so and very sore.  Other then that I maybe felt a little crappy the first couple of days after getting the shot. I'm glad I got it done though.

Throttleplate, you'll be glad you did this at some point down the road. And yes. The second shot could be more of the same. Neither are worse than shingles.
