Super User Swamp Girl Posted December 5, 2024 Super User Posted December 5, 2024 I sure use and LOVE the Shimano Flashboost lures and Deps Sakamata Shads. Both caught me a lot of bass in 2024. Literally hundreds of bass. I'm like @softwateronly: I LOVE the Winter Solstice. It's my favorite day of the year. 3 Quote
softwateronly Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 @Swamp GirlI do appreciate the solstices more as time goes by, and try to mark them in my life. But what gets me every year is the rate of change during the equinoxes, moves so darn fast even at my latitude compared to yours. scott 2 Quote

I hear ya, Scott. I fight the loss of light by adding light. My outside Christmas lights are twined blue and green and I just filled a box elder burl bowl with white Christmas lights. I also hanged two scones last week and have another two to hang. Then there are the candles! I do not go gentle into this good night, I rage, rage against the dying of the light! 5 Quote

Super User Koz Posted December 10, 2024 Super User Posted December 10, 2024 Christmas is about the only time of year that I DON’T buy fishing or kayak gear. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 14, 2024 Super User Posted December 14, 2024 If it wasn’t for fishing my family members wouldn’t have a default go to gift for me and not just Christmas. Back in the day I can always count on the Mystery Tackle box … Quote
