@Munkinohh gotcha never heard of the brand before.

They were popular 15-20 years ago for the Potomac and Susky.  Brooks Marine in Chambersburg, PA use to sell them.

That would be great. I’ve met with and fished with a bunch of BR members over the years.

I have never fished Marion or Moultrie and can’t wait to fish there.

The best part about fishing with @FishTax is he will call you out on your bad hooksets and tell you exactly where to throw your bait 😂 @Koz

I told you where to throw it and what was going to happen. You had one job... 😎

It’s never a good sign when you have to explain the joke.

The stars will really need to be aligned but

I'm hoping 2025 is the year I can get back . . . .

Just one more time.

Lotsa road trips. Okeechobee Dec. 26, Dale Hollow in March. Pickwick in April. St Lawrence and Champlain in July. Losing desire for road trips, making this one last time. Age and doctor appointments catching up.

Did all the boat updates last year.

I feel the same way about road trips, but man, you are going to some classic places, a Mount Rushmore of great water.

And @A-Jay is headed back to Nirvana!

I am going to Tampa, FL for a week in late March (spring break) with my family.  Although this is not specifically a fishing expedition, with the approval of my wife, I am going to devote a day to guided inshore fishing.

Back in 2015, my wife and I stayed at a beach resort for our honeymoon and we went on a guided saltwater fishing trip so I kind of have an idea of what to expect.  I intend to use the same guide service I used 10 years ago too.

I know many people don't think saltwater fishing is a big deal because this a bass fishing forum, but I do.  It's something I rarely get a chance to do when you live in the Midwest.  Redfish, sea trout, and snook...here I come.

Let's not jinx it ~

I still have to rob at least 2 more Quik Marts to help cover the air fare.

Definitely in the bay.  The guide I used last time was awesome.  I doubt I'll be able to use him again, but I'm gonna contact the same service.

I did a project in St Pete and stayed at a hotel right on the bay just south of Tropicana Field. Talked to a ton of people that fished it. Lot of fish in that bay.

That's where I stayed in 2015 and that's where I'll be staying again in March.

I think Tropicana Field got heavily damaged from a hurricane didn't it?

Only about 55 million in repairs. Should be ready for the 2026 season.

The 2026 season? So where are they playing in 2025?

I’m looking forward to just learning more about the bass fishing world in general, and staring some entry level local tournaments. I’m also dreaming about fishing a hidden gem lake that I have seen some giant largies pulled out of, the same lake I caught my ~6.5lber.

I heard they were going to play in the Yankees spring training  stadium in FL. Not sure exactly where

I’m going to grow a skullet , cut the sleeves off my shirts and put a lift kit on the front of my suburban. Then I’m gonna become best friends with my neighbor. 2025 will be epic.

Good Luck with all of that.

Of course we'll need video preferably but pictures would be OK as well.

Due to motor issues in 2024 I did not get on the water until August 10th -- once I finally got on the water the engine ran well (proud of myself, as a non-mechanically inclined person, that I did all the work myself - help of course from Bass Resource people/motor manual/YouTube videos) -- so for 2025 I hope to be on the water in April/May (crappie/bluegill until bass season begins in May) -- if all goes well I am looking to be on the water 40 or more times in 2025

I'm planning on learning about off shore fishing. I've been a bank beater all of my life. After 40+ years of bass fishing, I'm finding out what I've always done ain't getting the results anymore. I would also like to fish my first tournament (small local).
