I don't know about you guys, but this is the time of year when I've abandoned coats and mittens. I wear a thin vest and fingerless gloves and am good to go. I'm so acclimated to cold that I'm comfy and so, so sick of coats and mittens too. I'm one of many who feel this way. I'm starting to see guys in t-shirts and shorts walking into the grocery store.

That's a little aggressive but wouldn't surprise me either.

 

The high on Monday in southwestern MN/Sioux Falls, SD is supposed to be 55 degrees. 😎

I’m getting reports here of frost as deep as 5’ under the roads and 2-3’ off the roads. We haven’t had frost like this in years! The roads are heaving so I’ll be thankful when the frost goes away. Right now I feel like I’m riding a rodeo bull every time I drive.

Local NWS is forecasting a warming trend over the next several days.

Looks like an extended period of high temperatures in the 30s across Northern MI beginning Sunday

and lasting into the middle portions of next week.

A few chances for light snow showers as well this weekend into early next week.

btw - so far this is the FIRST day this month (21st) that it hasn't snowed here.

But it's early yet.

I know how that goes. I also live in a frost heave area.
